This exhibition by Robert Lazzarini is an example of re-presenting objects through distortion. Lazzarini took guns and knives and sculpted them out of their original materials in extreme prespective. He also distorts the walls of the exhibition, slanting them, forcing the viewer to be disoriented while viewing the work. This exhibition relates to the concept of the object in that Lazzarini recreated the object itself, but changed the way the viewer percieves and relates to the object through warping the object's form, shape, as well as its proportion and scale.
