David Sedaris

Hello Everyone!
On Saturday April 10th, David Sedaris is going to be speaking at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. I was going to go with my friend, but they can no longer attend. Is anyone interested in purchasing the ticket from him? Here is all of the info:
David Sedaris at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall
Seat: Center Terrace Row E Seat 128
My friend would like full price for the ticket, so $30, but it might be negotiable.
If interested, talk to me in class on Friday, or shoot me an email:

Dan Conrad's Color Talk!

For those of you who missed Dan Conrad's FANTASTIC Color Talk, Valeska shall distribute the handout given with a bunch of sweet color experiment websites on it during our next class. Soon we shall all be able to mix colors additively to achieve the color of DAMP SQUIB!

Complementary Contrast

I saw these people and stopped them to take their picture. They were so happy to pose and I was just as happy to take the photo.

magic game fun

hey buddies,
I remembered this tool I used to play with a lot online and thought you'd all enjoy it (BECAUSE IT'S SO FUN)

It searches flickr and pulls up photos only with the color that you choose in it. But! You're not limited to one, you can choose more (up to 10) and it finds the ones with those schemes in it.
it's a really lovely tool, please try it for a bit!

Hello Folks,

I look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Please remember - your color books are due. Please have them ready to share.
A few people will be presenting their color talks - Jazzy, Carolyn and Meagan.

Also - take out your trusty date books and please mark the following:

Dan Conrad, artist, former physics educator and MICA alumnus (Hoffberger 1981) will give a presentation about the science of color, sound and light in Falvey Hall on Wednesday, 31 March - 2:15-3:45.

Please plan to attend (we are all expected to be there) and prepare to be amazed and intrigued!

And how about this here blog. It is so sadly neglected - after all of the love it has given us!
